Community and Franchise Day is KupoCon’s love letter to the fans and the franchises that shaped Final Fantasy. Included with your weekend ticket, this day blends our iconic Quest Log and market with unique community content, fresh displays, and the return of the beloved Event Square.
From Kingdom Hearts to NieR, crossover cosplays are welcomed and encouraged—though Final Fantasy always remains centre stage. It’s a day that captures the creativity, nostalgia, and passion of our community.
Please note: KupoCon does not offer individual Saturday or Sunday tickets. We offer a combined weekend pass to ensure a consistent, immersive experience. Each day is designed to complement the other. Attending just one would be like watching half a movie. You won’t want to miss a moment.

BUSKERS + PERFORMANCES
We’re excited to invite performers to showcase their talents. Once you’ve secured your ticket, you can apply to be a busker. Attendees will be encouraged to donate gil to performers, which they can then use to purchase merch at O’aka’s.

COMMUNITY COMPETITIONS
We have a variety of displays and competitions to the show. Artists and creatives are invited to submit their work, with winning entries selected by our panel of judges. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
POMTINS HOLIDAY PARK (SATURDAY EVENING)
On Saturday evening, join us for an iconic celebration as we transform the venue into Pomptins Holiday Park, the official evening event for KupoCon MegaPom. This event is strictly 18+, and you must have attended the day event to join the fun.
Pomptins is our cheeky tribute to classic UK holiday parks like Butlins and Haven, packed with 80s, 90s, and early 2000s nostalgia. Dig out your brightest polo shirt, toss on some tacky sunglasses, and prepare for an experience bursting with throwback charm and chaotic fun.
The night kicks off with a focus on fun and games, featuring some real blasts from the KupoCon past. Twists, turns, and surprises you won’t want to miss. As the evening rolls on, expect a lively mix of music, from Final Fantasy and gaming favourites to absolute party anthems that will keep you dancing (and cringing) well into the night.
And yes, there will be themed drinks for the grown-up GFs among you.
PROJECT ORIGIN
(SUNDAY EVENING)
We’re thrilled to announce that the long-awaited premiere of Project Origin: For King & Con will take place during MegaPom! This exclusive screening offers a powerful and emotional deep dive into the story of KupoCon and our journey to the 20th event along with the unforgettable community that made it possible.
Expect a tear-jerking, high-energy rollercoaster of a documentary that explores every corner of the KupoCon legacy. From humble beginnings to sold-out spectacles, from the quiet behind-the-scenes work to the electric atmosphere on event day, this film captures it all. The highs, the lows, the laughter, the heartbreak, and everything in between. It’s an unfiltered, heartfelt look at how something truly special was built with love, passion, and one incredible community.
For more information on the documentary, the dress code, age restrictions and what to expect, visit the Project Origin website.
Got a question, kupo?
Below you’ll find our frequently asked questions. In most cases, the answers you’re looking for will be right here. However, if there’s something you can’t find or you need further assistance, feel free to reach out to us at the following email: support AT kupocon DOT com. We’re happy to help!
I'm completely new to KupoCon. Help!
Joining a new community can feel intimidating, but KupoCon is built to be as welcoming and inclusive as possible. All it takes is a little confidence to make that first step and commit to attending. Even before the event, you can start connecting with fellow fans through our Community Group or Discord. When you arrive, be sure to ask for a Chocobo badge, our way of identifying and supporting newcomers. KupoCon isn’t just an event; it’s a full blown Final Fantasy celebration, like the best birthday party you have ever been to. The atmosphere is unlike anything else, and you will feel it the moment you walk through the door.
Why is there only weekend passes?
KupoCon is not your typical convention. While many events focus on browsing merchandise or brief guest encounters, KupoCon delivers a fully structured two-day experience designed to immerse you in the world of Final Fantasy from start to finish.
Each day of KupoCon brings something different to the table.
Day One features keynote interviews and the beginning of your questing journey.
Day Two shifts toward deeper community engagement, large interactive activities in the Event Square, and the continuation of quests and hunts that bring fans together in memorable ways.
We do not offer single-day passes because the event is carefully curated as a complete experience. Attending only one day would be like playing just half a game. You would miss important moments, connections, and story beats that define what KupoCon truly is. By joining us for the full weekend, you become part of an immersive, inclusive, and intimate adventure we have poured our hearts into.
This is more than just a convention. It is a celebration for fans, by fans.
What is the Chocobo Badge system?
We’ve put together a video explaining the system. You can find it here:
Are there any discounts available? Kids?
We do offer discounts. The Early Chocobo discount is available during the first 24 hours of public ticket sales and during the pre-sale period. This discount is automatically applied at checkout, there’s nothing else you need to do. After that window closes, ticket prices adjust accordingly. Children aged 12 and under can attend for free and do not require pre-registration, just bring them along on the day. We’ve made sure to plan the event with families in mind, so younger fans are more than welcome.
Do you have special hotel rates?
We do offer special hotel rates for attendees, with rooms starting at £129 per night (single occupancy) including bed and breakfast at the Novotel London West. This special rate is available to book anytime from February 12th to February 17th, while the block remains open. Rooms come with a single bed as standard, but you can request a different configuration, including sofa beds, based on the number of guests. The rate increases slightly with each additional guest, with a maximum of three people per room. The block is expected to fill quickly, but KupoCon will work with the hotel to increase availability as needed.
If you require an accessible room, you can indicate this during your online booking. There is also a field for additional notes or special requests.
We’ve been informed that payment is taken on arrival at the hotel. The cancellation policy allows for free cancellation up to seven days before arrival.
A link to book will be found on your ticket confirmation.
Are tickets limited?
Yes, tickets will be limited, and only a set number of each ticket type is available. This structure is essential to making KupoCon possible, we need to reach certain targets to ensure the event remains financially viable. We strongly encourage booking early to avoid disappointment. KupoCon is, and always will be, an intimate and inclusive experience. For that reason, we have no plans to significantly increase attendance beyond its current scale. Historically events in the UK sell VERY quickly.
When will you announce guests and loot?
As we get closer to the event, we’ll begin revealing some of the loot items and announcing the special guests who will be in attendance. In some cases, these announcements may come only a few weeks before the event due to guest scheduling and other commitments. Rest assured, we always aim to impress. Every KupoCon event has featured fantastic guests and exclusive loot that fans have loved.
That said, if your primary reason for attending KupoCon is just to meet special guests, you may find that our event is not the best fit for you. KupoCon is a community-focused celebration where the experience, the atmosphere, and the shared love for Final Fantasy take center stage. We see guests as a wonderful bonus, not the main attraction. In fact, we intentionally hold off on announcing all our guests until after initial ticket sales to help discourage a guest-only mindset. KupoCon is about connection, creativity, and community and that’s where the real magic happens.
I have a disability. Can I bring a caregiver with me?
In certain circumstances, we can offer a single complimentary carer pass to attendees who require essential support during the event.

How do you access the presale?
To access the pre-sale, simply sign up for our Patreon. You can join any paid tier at any time before the pre-sale begins, though we recommend joining by September 1st to ensure access. We’ve removed the previous three-month requirement, making it easier than ever to take part. Each patron is limited to purchasing two tickets, one for themselves and one for a guest. Add-ons such as the evening party and Project Origin screening will also be available during the pre-sale.
Please do not abuse the system. Any additional ticket purchases beyond the allowed limit will be cancelled.
I would like a table at KupoCon. How do I register?
Visit the market section of our website. Make sure you have a valid ticket for both days and apply for a free table. Additional tables can be purchased and we now offer advertisement space in our Quest Log. Note that this is a 2-day market and you are required to display both days.
Where can I learn more about all the KupoCon terms?
We have a dedicated glossary on our website. You can find it here: https://kupocon.com/glossary/
We also have a growing series on YouTube called Kupo 101: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLsWuBBY9XbPsNXBuS1KntihcWH9LdIYrL
Is your event LGBTQ+ friendly?
At KupoCon, inclusivity isn’t just a goal, it’s part of our foundation. We’re proud to foster a space where everyone feels welcome, respected, and celebrated for who they are. That’s why we offer optional name and pronoun stickers at our events. If you’d like to use one, they’re available at the registration desk, just write your name and chosen pronouns, and wear it proudly.
It’s a small gesture, but one that helps make our community feel a little more open, a little more understanding, and a whole lot more like home.
Where is your event schedule?
We typically post a schedule 30 days ahead of the event. It will be posted to this page. Stay tuned!
How do you set your ticket prices?
KupoCon works really hard to keep the event affordable but also rewarding. Our tickets may be more expensive than your typical local con, but the rewards with ours are far greater. The quest log alone can earn you lots of free rewards.
Will you offer RTA passes?
Yes, RTA passes will be available for this event, but please note that space is limited and we can only accept a certain number of applications. RTA pass holders will be assigned a dedicated session to meet with special guests first thing in the morning, Details of this session will be shared directly with those selected. Saturday will be paid signings. Sunday will be bundles.
Applications for an RTA pass must be submitted within 48 hours of purchasing your ticket, using the form provided. While we aim to accommodate as many requests as possible, not all applications can be approved. We review each one carefully and make decisions based on need. We kindly ask that you consider whether an RTA pass is essential for you before applying, to help us support those who need it most.
I want to busk, perform or contribute to Community Day, how?
That’s great to hear! There will be plenty of ways to get involved on Community and Franchise Day. Applications for competitions, community panels, and busker spots will open in the months ahead. While our current focus is on other upcoming events, more details will be shared soon. Keep an eye on our socials and website for the latest updates.
Will Origin be available online?
Project Origin: For King and Con will premiere at MegaPom. We currently have no plans to release the documentary online. This is a project we believe is best experienced in the unique atmosphere of a KupoCon event, and we truly hope you’ll be there to share it with us.
Can I just attend the screening or party?
No, you cannot attend the Saturday evening party or the Project Origin screening on Sunday without a weekend pass. These add-on events are exclusive to full weekend attendees.
What should I wear to Pomtins?
For our Saturday night event, we’re bringing you POMTINS, a full-blown, tongue-in-cheek tribute to classic UK holiday camps like Butlins and Haven. Think bright, bold, and brilliantly tacky. This is your chance to dive into the nostalgia of 80s and 90s summer holidays, reimagined with a Final Fantasy twist.
Not sure what to wear? Channel your inner Redcoat with a flashy blazer or polo shirt and shorts combo. Dig out that neon windbreaker, some tube socks, and maybe a bum bag for good measure. Oversized sunglasses, bucket hats, and cheesy novelty tees are all strongly encouraged. Bonus points for fake tan, perms, and glow sticks. Looking for something a little more “camp entertainer”? Go wild with sequins, leopard print, or karaoke host energy.
In short, if it would have looked at home in a low-budget talent show or a caravan park disco, you’re on the right track. The tackier, the better. Let’s make it a night to remember (and regret slightly in photos).
