We are delighted to officially announce the rescheduled premiere of Project Origin: For King and Con, which will now take place at MegaPom in London on Sunday, February 15th 2026. This long-anticipated documentary, which delves into the heart and history of KupoCon, will screen in the evening following Community and Franchise Day. After much planning, reflection, and reworking, we’re thrilled to bring this emotional and revealing project to our community.
The screening will be held within the Novotel London West, with doors opening at 6:00pm for patrons and 6:30pm for general ticket holders. The film will begin promptly at 7:00pm. A full bar service will be available before and after the screening, and please note that this is a strictly 18+ event. This experience is designed to be an intimate celebration of the journey we’ve all taken together. Raw, honest, and entirely unique.
In addition to the film, we will be offering a selection of exclusive merchandise, specially created for the screening. These items will be available only at this event, and once they’re gone, they’re gone. Whether you’re a longtime supporter or a curious newcomer, these commemoratives are a one-time opportunity to own a piece of KupoCon history.
Tickets are just £10 during the early chocobo sale and £15 aftwerwards and are available only to MegaPom ticket holders. Attendance at MegaPom is a requirement for entry to the screening. We hope you’ll join us for this very special evening as we finally lift the curtain on Project Origin, a love letter to the fans, the moments, and the magic that have defined our journey.

Behaviour & Screening Etiquette
First and foremost, this is a movie premiere, please treat it with the appropriate level of decorum.
Mobile Phones & Devices: Once the movie begins, all mobile phones and electronic devices must be turned off or set to silent mode. The glow of a screen or an unexpected sound can be highly disruptive and diminish the immersive experience for those around you. Before and after, you may use them as much as you like and we encourage you to capture the moment.
No Recording or Photography: Recording or photographing any portion of the film is strictly prohibited. Not only does this compromise the integrity of the film, but it also violates copyright laws. We ask all guests to respect this rule to preserve the experience for everyone.
Silence During the Screening: Talking, excessive reactions, or unnecessary noise will not be tolerated. This is a shared experience, and any disruptions will result in removal from the screening.
Applause & Reactions: While we appreciate enthusiasm, we kindly request that applause and excessive expressions of appreciation be reserved until the credits to ensure that every moment of the film is experienced without interruption. Of course, we understand that expressing emotions is part of the experience, just try to be conscious of those around you.
Content Advisory: Please be advised that Project Origin contains material that some viewers may find distressing. The documentary addresses sensitive topics, including strong language, self-harm, suicide, drug use, abuse, and depression. Due to the mature nature of its content, the screening is strictly for adults only. If you suffer from severe anxiety or are sensitive to intense subject matter, this screening may not be suitable for you. Viewer discretion is advised.
Special Guests: This screening will be attended by many familiar faces, including individuals involved in the Final Fantasy series. While we encourage you to socialise and enjoy the evening, we ask that you respect their space and the nature of this event. Please allow all guests to experience the screening without interruption and uphold the professionalism expected at a premiere.
We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining the right atmosphere for this special occasion.
