As many of you will already know, we announced on September 12 that KupoCon is returning to Vancouver on November 7-8 2026. After an incredible year in 2024, including our most successful West Coast show to date, it feels wonderful to come back with something even bigger. We are delighted to confirm that our next Vancouver adventure will be our first ever two-day West Coast event, and today we are pleased to share the first details.

We are thrilled to reveal that the event will be called KupoCon: MetroPom. Once again we will be returning to the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown in Burnaby. A special room rate will be available as usual, though you are welcome to begin your accommodation search whenever you like. We are planning a full weekend experience and we expect a fantastic turnout.

As with our other recent two-day shows, single day tickets will not be offered. Day one will be the main event and day two will be our Community and Franchise Day, giving you a full weekend of Final Fantasy goodness from start to finish. Tickets including both days will start at just $99 CAD when taking advantage of our Early Chocobo Discount, with it rising to $109 CAD 48 hours after ticket release.

We are also excited to announce that the Saturday night celebration will be known as “ChocoBOO! Rouge” Yes, that is ChocoBOO, and yes, it is exactly what it sounds like. A Halloween meets Final Fantasy mashup with plenty of spooky charm and a strong red theme throughout. Expect mischief. Expect magic. Expect Red Chocobo’s.

We cannot wait to return to the West Coast. We have some unique plans in motion and we are looking forward to sharing more. Tickets will go on sale in early May with our typical patron 24-hour presale and additional details will be revealed during an episode of KupoCast in early 2026. Remember, tickets will be limited, so you’ll want to plan ahead.
