Changes to Meet and Greet at KupoCon
KupoCon has always aimed to offer more than just special guest interactions. However, as our event has grown, we’ve faced challenges with lengthy queues for guest meet and greets. Today we’re happy to provide details of our new system which we hope will make the event more about KupoCon rather than Queue-po-con.
It’s essential to understand that it’s impossible for every attendee to secure an autograph due to the practical constraints of time versus the number of attendees. We emphasize that our evening events provide unique opportunities for socializing with guests in a relaxed setting.
First and foremost, our top-tier ticket holders (Ultima) will always receive priority. As with many events, the higher the ticket tier, the more perks you enjoy, and KupoCon is no exception. Top-tier tickets come with prioritized services. We express gratitude for the incredible support from our community.

Now, let’s delve into meeting the guests.
You have two options: an Autograph Bundle or a Kupon (Coupon).
Autograph Bundle:
When we approach guests, we ask them to agree to meet with a certain number of attendees as part of their appearance which offers an autograph and selfie combo. We then bundle these autographs at a very affordable rate in an effort to make it financially viable for you to meet all the guests, but also it helps us offset many of our guests’ expenses. Bundles typically go on sale when a final guest list is in place. However, if more guests are invited or someone drops out, your bundle will include or subtract whatever is announced. On the day of the event, the first portion of the guest meet and greet sessions are for these bundle holders.
- Top-tier ticket holders have access to the bundles first. Usually a 24-hour advance. After that, the bundles are opened to all ticket holders (Assuming some remain). They are purchased online via our ticket portal. Top-tier ticket holders would receive an early-access link.
- On the day of the event, top-tier ticket holders go first. They are then followed by other ticket holders who have a bundle. They join the line that is already in place.
- It’s a single line to meet all the guests, so you only queue once.
We ask that you be very conscious of time, as a lot of people want to meet the guests. If you feel you have a lot to say to a guest, but you’re conscious of time, we suggest considering a letter or having a chat during the evening.
- Only the bundle holder and a plus one may enter the hall.
- The plus one may be included in the photo but no additional photo or autograph is permitted.
- You cannot purchase additional autographs during these sessions.
- From December 18, 2023 you can only purchase one bundle per person. If you purchased multiple bundles before this date, they will be accepted.
Kupon (Coupon):
So, you didn’t buy a bundle, perhaps you only want to meet one or two guests? Then this might be the option for you. You’ll need to head over to Mognet Central, our information and assistance desk, and pick up a Kupon. This is basically an access pass to the guest room.
- You should approach Mognet Central, let them know who you want to meet.
- They will confirm the price the guest had set. You would accept or decline and receive the Kupon(s).
- You then take that to the guest meet and greet room and pay the guest directly.
- Unlike the bundle session, it’s separate queues for each guest, so if you want to meet more than one person, you’ll need to line up again.
- You can only meet with the guests you have Kupons for. The Kupon is guest specific.
- You can purchase as many autographs as you like during your meet and greet.
But keep in mind that…
- Top-tier ticket holders will have the first opportunity to get these Kupons.
- You cannot pickup tokens for another attendee as your name will be written on the Kupon. An ID check may be required.
- After the opening ceremony, they’ll be open to everyone. But please keep in mind that these Kupons are very limited.
- Only the Kupon holder and a plus one may enter the hall.
- The plus one may be included in the photo but no additional photo or autograph is permitted.
There are only so many hours in the day, so special guests can only meet so many people. It’s entirely possible that these will run out before we reach general availability.
Meet and greets for Kupon holders will work in similar fashion to bundles whereby top tier ticket holders will have a session before everyone else.
Remember: While our system is designed to make your experience more enjoyable, you MUST plan your time carefully to avoid disappointment. If you purchase a bundle and don’t get to meet the guests. OR you obtain a Kupon and run out of time, there is nothing we can do. Plan your time carefully.
Here is an example of how a meet and greet schedule may look:
