FAQ: XV Tour Toronto & Los Angeles
The XV Anniversary Tour events are just around the corner. They’re not like our typical events, so you might have some questions about them. If you have any other queries, please contact [email protected]
If you have not yet bought a ticket or even heard of these events, please refer back to the XV Tour landing page here. It presents a general overview as well as info on room block access for Toronto and Los Angeles.
Tickets come in standard or premium. Premium grants you earlier access and comes with a handcrafted luxury white giftbag with navy blue handles and the KupoCon XV Tour Logo displayed on the front. Inside the bag is a collectors game case, art postcards, commemorative pen, coaster, a set of XV Tour TriPom Cards, a Kenny Crow water bottle, and an Ignis-themed utensils set made from recycled materials. The cost of the optional loot bag is 65CAD / 50USD and is cheaper to pre-purchase rather than buy separately.

COVID-19 Requirements & Info
PLEASE NOTE THIS SECTION IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED ON LOCAL REQUIREMENTS
Please Note:
These events are limited to 200 people, which allows a lot of room for attendees. Local guidelines will be followed. If COVID-19 restricts the event from proceeding, we will postpone and reschedule the event. If the event is cancelled, we will refund you in full.
There are no specific COVID-related entry requirements into these events.
Do I need to wear a face covering?
While there is no mandate for masks in either location, overall we encourage their use in crowded areas where possible. Wearing a mask to meet the guests will remain mandatory unless otherwise stated by the guest. Please respect a guest’s right to wear a mask when taking photographs.
I am traveling from another country and can no longer attend due to government restrictions. What are my options?
Please contact [email protected]. While refunds are only offered on the basis the event is cancelled, those overseas who legally cannot travel can discuss such options with us.
Will any of these requirements change?
Changes may occur, subject to local guidelines. Any updates will be reflected here and on the following page: https://kupocon.com/covid19/
General FAQ
Who or what is KupoCon?
New to the scene? Welcome! KupoCon is a FINAL FANTASY fan event ran by a dedicated team across the globe. Hosting events since 2017, its community-driven focus aims to unite FF fans across the world. We are not endorsed, sanctioned or in any other way supported directly or indirectly by Square Enix or any of its respective partners.
What exactly are these anniversary parties?
Celebrations of FFXV, specifically its recent 5-year anniversary. FFXV holds a special place in the hearts of many fans, and indeed for KupoCon’s launch around the same time – it is more than enough reason to bring fans together and celebrate the connections it has established over the years. These parties are essentially just that: parties!
What will be going on?
Unlike standard KupoCon events, we don’t have our usual day-time activities like quests, hunts, and panels, for example, nor a marketplace, but we intend to have some familiar elements present, such as guest interaction and giveaways & surprises. This is a social gathering where we’ll have themed drinks, speeches, and music, so come and meet likeminded folk like you.
What will I need to get into the event?
Your ticket and photo ID.
You need to be 19-years-old or over to attend the Toronto event.
You need to be 21-years-old or over to attend the LA event.
I bought tickets for friends but haven’t changed the names. What should I do?
As long as you are with your friends as you enter, you can all get in.
Can I buy tickets at the door?
Tickets will still be available to buy online for Toronto and Los Angeles unless otherwise shown.
I heard there will be 4 coasters to collect at these events. How do I obtain?
While one coaster will be in premium loot bags and available to purchase at the merch desk, the other three will be behind the bar – you will be given one whenever you spend $20 or more at the bar.
I wish I had all the loot with the premium bags. Will anything be available?
We will have a merch table with all the new merchandise, as well as a few familiar KupoCon items, at Toronto. Due to logistical issues, we will not have a merchandise desk at LA. However, we will provide information on hand about how to procure these items another way.
Can I cosplay at the event? Does it have to be FFXV-themed?
Yes, you can cosplay. It does not have to be FFXV, but naturally it would be most suitable, considering the theme.
What about props?
Props are acceptable, but please exercise caution. These are smaller events compared to standard KupoCon events and thus are hosted in smaller venues. We discourage particularly large props. If you are unsure about a prop, please contact [email protected] alongside an image of your prop for scale.

GUESTS
Will guests be doing any signings?
Guests will be doing a signing session at their own leisure.
Will guests have their own stuff I can get signed from them?
While guests are likely to have their own material, we won’t have a merch desk in LA to offer alternatives, so we advise you bring your own material too.
Can I give gifts to the guests?
Historically, our guests have appreciated gifts, but consumables are not welcome. Please respect a guest’s decision should they decline. They may have their personal reasons for doing so.
What else should I know about guests?
Like typical KupoCon evening events, guests tend to hang with the crowd and enjoy the party as much as we do. This has been successful due to the respect attendees show to guests. So, we would ask you not to badger guests for extra signings, take excessive photos, or take up much of their time (especially to promote yourself or your organisation, or request them for your own uses, such as interviews for a website and more).
