So now you know when KupoCon is. If you missed the announcement, I won’t spoil it for you. Go ahead and watch episode three of KupoCast. It’s a great episode which is packed with new information on The Big Pom. Don’t worry though, we’ll have lots more information to share on Mind The Pom (London) in August.

The purpose of todays blog is to talk about swag. We won’t be calling it swag from now on, to us it’s going to be loot. It’s more Final Fantasy appropriate. Special loot will be referred to as “Key Items” and they’ll be exclusive to Ultima Ticket Holders.

So what loot will you receive? Well, that’s a tough question to answer because we are still over six months away from the event. We want to give you a rough idea of what you can expect before tickets go on sale (June 21st). The main thing to know about the Ultima ticket, is that the extra that you’re paying is not a profit margin for us, It’s cost-price loot. Every extra penny you spend on an Ultima ticket will come right back at you in loot and activities. Ultima ticket holders will receive so much more loot than other ticket holders.

Let’s take a moment to talk about some of the loot:

The Loot bag: There are two types of bags, standard and premium. The standard loot bag will be nice but simple. The Ultima bag however, is something you’ll be using for a long time. Both items will be reusable though.

Commemorative Ticket: Every attendee will receive this special item. Upon handing in your printed ticket, you will receive a specially designed commemorative pass which you can take home as a memento. We won’t stamp it or rip it. It’s for you to keep and for you to enjoy. Both are absolutely beautiful to look at but the Ultima Ticket has something extra special about it.

Triple Triad: As many of you are aware, we are working on a Triple Triad tournament called “Tri-Pom”. We have hired a very talented artist to produce a set of exclusive custom made decks for this event. Some of these cards will be provided to you in your loot bag. Ultima ticket holders can expect a number of exclusive cards and can expect more of them in general. A number of cards will be obtainable by taking part in various activities. Blizzara and Thundaga ticket holders will receive a random selection of cards but it won’t include the exclusive Ultima cards. More on this can be found on our forums.

Downloadable content: Ticket holders will be able to take advantage of some Final Fantasy downloads. This will include exclusive KupoCon wallpapers for your computer and smartphone. Ultima loot will include a downloadable Final Fantasy music album by one of our partners. We’re still working out the specifics but expect more info in the future. You may even receive a downloadable game!

Clothing: Every loot bag will include an item of clothing. Ultima ticket holders will receive something of a higher calibre. Various sizes will be available so you can always trade if it doesn’t quite fit. There will also be a number of items for sale if you need extras. However, the Ultima clothing will not be available to purchase at the event.

We are just scratching the surface of what we hope to provide, but we think this gives you a better idea of what to expect. Whatever ticket you buy, you’ll be leaving with some cool items. If you’re still not sure what ticket you want, don’t forget that you can use a “Kupon” (Discount) on your ticket and save up to 15%.

Our friends at Nerdstrodamus will be revealing many loot items in upcoming episodes. Keep in mind though, there are limited Ultima tickets available. Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity. -and don’t forget, you’ll be able to earn more loot all over the event!
